By: -Chuck BlackWednesday Staff Col. Mike Weaver (Kentucky Democratic candidate for the U.S. Congress) was gracious enough to make time for an interview with MSNBC's Tucker Carlson. Air date: 9/26/06
I say 'gracious' because Tucker was his old pompous, little-twerp, self tonight. He had an agenda going in...I dunno. I haven't seen him in 'reach out and ambush a Democrat' mode in a long time, but he clearly didn't know what he was getting himself into. After calmly pointing out to Tucker that he was being rude, the Col. then took the high road, and explained his positions. Tucker made some wild and untrue accusations, that Mr. Weaver set straight. Tucker spent the remainder of the interview simply looking uncomfortable. He's a positive, intellectually curious, experienced Democrat, and I think that's exactly what the U.S House could use a bit more of.
