While watching the 2007 Primary Election returns a few things became clear to me.

Fletcher beats Northup! 
Kentuckians across the Commonwealth reject Republican Anne Northup  and her attempt to become governor.
Think about that. She was beaten by the most corrupt Kentucky politician in a generation. This can only make things easier for Democrats in the fall. "Liberals...you have your target."

Beshear beats Lunsford! 

In a tough race, Steve Beshear defeats the Lundsford campaign for the Democratic nomination. He will face albatross, Ernie Fletcher in the general election. While a fan of Stumbo, we just couldn't get with Lunsford. Besides assisting in the initial election of Republican Ernie Fletcher, his campaign sent more spam than any other campaign I have ever seen. For example: I am on both the Clinton and Obama for President lists. When I compare the amount of campaign spam I have received from both campaigns...it is only 1/3 of what I have received from the Lunsford folks. This is an unwise move on their part. First of all, they only got my email address by buying it. They bought a list of all registered Democratic voters in the state of Kentucky, and proceded to spam the hell out of us. This is what we in the nerd community call: "shitty".

Jack Conway destroys Robert Bullock for Attorney General

In a return that can only be called "embarrassing". 8 out of 10 Kentuckians supported Jack Conway in his bid to become the next Kentucky Attorney General. No matter how you slice it, Conway was a superior candidate with a superior campaign.
