Popular Judge Jim Shake has launched a new website in his campaign for higher office. I have met Judge Shake, and I find him to be an honest, fair, person. He's really someone that I feel comfortable deciding cases that effect Kentucky as a whole, and our district in particular.

      Jim's commitment to Justice for All is more than a campaign slogan. It is the principle Judge Shake lives by and will continue to live by to serve every citizen in Jefferson County and throughout the Commonwealth. It is a promise you can trust. From his earliest days Judge Jim has brought a keen intellect and a strong moral compass to bear.

He knows to make judgments based on conduct and has held to the deeply held belief that everyone comes to his court on equal footing entitled to a full and fair opportunity to be heard. His ability to do that has not gone unnoticed.

The Louisville Bar Association conducts evaluations of the Circuit Judges every 2 years. These judicial evaluations ask lawyers familiar with the judges whether racial, gender or other bias affects a judge. Judge Jim has consistently been rated highest in creating a bias-free courtroom, preferring no one and, indeed, offering "Justice for All " on a day to day and year to year basis for the past 15 years.

Judge Jim asks you when you vote in this next election to consider his excellent performance, and the leadership roles repeatedly entrusted to him and vote for him for Justice on the Kentucky Supreme Court. Vote for Chief Judge Jim Shake!"

As a Kentucky voter I think this is someone that we should all seriously research and consider. We need more people like this in our government. At least a few people still seem to believe in the difference between "right and wrong".
